The Voices Foundation will gather stories and histories and present them through theatrical productions and educational programs that are cultural, historic, and artistic; keeping traditions alive by sharing them for the entertainment of all people.
Members of the Board of Directors of the Foundation, Barry Lemoine, Rose Marie Sand, Christian Bordelon and Annette Campo, and Ronda DeForest have often been called upon to share their knowledge and experiences as inspirational speakers and accomplished writers, producers and directors with trade groups and other organizations. If your local group would like to contact members of the Voices Foundation as a guest speaker, please contact Rose Marie Sand at 504.666.1220.

Scholarship Program
The Voices Foundation will also administer and award an annual scholarship program, "The Milton Sand Memorial Scholarship Award." In 2006, two deserving art/theater student in St. Bernard parish, Kammie Nguyen and Robbie Seibert, received the first scholarship awards.
The Voices Foundation provides a one-time scholarship reward of $500 to an eligible recipient. This annual reward is funded through donations made to the Milton Sand Scholarship Fund as well as funds allocated by The Voices Foundation. In order to promote educational advancement and artistic public interest, this award will be given to a student who has shown continued public interest in the arts and is seeking attendance at a college or other educational institute. The recipient is chosen by the board members of The Voices Foundation and must meet the proper criteria.
In January 2008, our dear friend Rita Stockstill O'Sullivan passed, and we are instituting a new scholarship in her name to a theatre student in St. Tammany. Rita was a teacher for many years, and an integral part of the theatre community.
